Spring Ball is Camarillo PONY Baseball's regular season that runs from mid-February through May.

REGISTRATION is OPEN. Please register as soon as you can so we can get a good idea of all those ready to play in the Spring 2022 season.
All teams should be formed by the end of January. Once teams are formed, your Team Manager will contact you and give you your practice schedule. Practices are scheduled to start first week in February. Regular season will run through the end of May.
** Upcoming dates **
Last Day for Regular Registration is Sunday, January 16th. A $25 late fee will be assessed to any registration after the 16th.
NOTE- There is no guarantee that your player will be placed onto a team if you register after January 16th.
Player Assessments: Friday, January 21st and Saturday the 22nd
Players draft: Tuesday, Jan. 25th and Wednesday, Jan. 26th (Time and location to be announced soon)
Mandatory Managers meeting: TBD
Practices start: First week of February
Opening Ceremonies: Friday, March 4th at Newly renovated BOB KILDEE PARK in Camarillo!
Games begin: Saturday, March 5th

** Player Assessments **
Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, Pony and Colt divisions must sign up for an assessment time slot.
A link for player assessment times will be emailed out at a later date.
** Player equipment and uniform **
Your player should bring a glove, bat, and helmet to practice and games. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, players will not be allowed to share equipment. CPBA will supply team hats and team jerseys. Players must provide their own white baseball pants and belt.** Concussion and Head Injury Procedures **You had an opportunity to read these procedures during the registration, with your player, and acknowledge you read them. ** 2022 CPBA Bat Rules **
The CPBA Board has authorized the use of USSSA and USA bats for LEAGUE play for all divisions except 13/14U PONY REC and 15/18U COLT. REC
13/14U PONY REC and 15/18U COLT REC must use USA, BBCOR or WOOD bats for league play.
NOTE - ONLY USA BATS CAN BE USED FOR PONY SANCTIONED ALL STAR PLAY.

The league incurs costs in advance of each season to pay for items such as uniforms, equipment, etc. Due to these upfront costs, CPBA charges a $50 administration fee for refunds prior to a player being placed on a team. Refunds requested after a player is drafted and/or placed on a team will be honored at a 50% rate. Draft/player placement is scheduled for: January 25th and 26th, 2022. No refund is available after the first game has been played.
